Welcome to Eaton Middle School!

 

It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve such an outstanding community.  I am looking forward to another great year working with students, parents, and staff.

All of us at EMS work very hard to create a positive environment where every student's unique strengths and talents are celebrated. We have a culture of high expectations for students and staff alike.  By focusing on our student's academic success as well as their social and emotional well-being, students leave EMS prepared for success in high school.

I encourage all parents to actively participate in their child's education. I am confident you will find that EMS is a place where students will experience, “It is Great to be an EAGLE!”

6th Grade Orientation - Thursday, August 13th

We’re excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade students to Eaton Middle School! To help make the transition as smooth as possible, EMS will host a special orientation just for 6th graders & their parentsStudents sitting on a lab table in science class on Thursday, August 13th, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM.

During this event, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Pick up, review and “walk” their class schedule

  • Practice opening their lockers

  • Meet administrators and classmates

  • Explore the building and get familiar with their new surroundings

This is a fantastic chance for students to get comfortable with middle school before the first day of classes. We look forward to seeing you there!

 

Schedule Pick up

A 7th-grade daily schedule is displayed on lined paper.7th & 8th grade students may pick up their schedules Thursday, August 13th and Friday, August 14th from 8 am to 2 pm.  If  you are unable to come during these times, schedules will also be available at our school wide Open House Monday, August 17th.  We look forward to seeing you.

Please join us as we kick off the new year. We are very excited for the hustle and bustle a new school year brings and to welcome our new and returning students.  Students may pick up schedules, set up lockers, meet their teachers, and connect with old and new friends.  Families and students may come at at any time between 6 and 8 pm.
